Stanley Goes to London

The Boy does love his donosaurs, so on 7th September 2006, both Father & Son set off to the Natural History Museum (http://www.nhm.ac.uk/). Watch out for that T. Rex, son.
There was also time to visit the Imperial War Museum (http://www.iwm.org.uk/), which had some interest, particulalry the inside of this WWII German Tank.

Great fun, and a great day out.

Over The Hedge

Hollie & Stanley both went to see the movie 'Over the Hedge' - and enjoyed it. Easily the best CGI-movie since the Incredibles.

The Birthday Trip to West Midlands Safari Park
For Stanley, the opportunity to go to West Midlands Safari Park (http://www.wmsp.co.uk/) on his birthday, was too good to miss. Despite the fact that the trip was during the school holidays, it was good day. Stanley brought his mother, sister and me (Dad) along for the fun.

they were not very active as we went past.
After the Safari, it was off to the fairground for some more fun.

Happy Easter
Hollie wasn't to well today, so she lay on the sofa most of the day watching 'Nanny McPhee' & Harry Potter 2.
Stanley,on the other hand, had his 1st opportunity to watch 'King Kong', and despite its lengthy running time, he was transfixed once the action moved to Skull Island.

Typical Hollywood that they got the name of one dinosaur wrong - it should be Apatosaurus, not Brontosaurus. Still in a dinosaur monster fest like this, its hard to complain.

Birmingham 0 Chelsea 0

This was the first Premier League game Stan & Hollie have been to. Hollie enjoyed it, but Stan fell asleep 10 minutes the end. Surrounding supporters thought it was hilarious, and was probably the most fun they had had all season!
They both came away with Blues scarves, so hopefully that will mean they will stay Bluenoses forever.
